This Stunning Custom Harley Chopper was the creation of Back Yard Boys of Florida. They created this beauty and came to Techflex for help with the wires, cables, and hoses. We were proud to help this worthy cause and love to show off the shots of this very cool project.

The following is a thank you letter from Back Yard Boys.
"Let me start by saying that there were entirely too many things wrong with this bike to list. It was what we call,
"A Rat". A complete rolling disaster. After talking it over with the owner and our partner Keith Vandyke, we made the decision as to what would be done mechanically and aesthetically on an extremely limited budget and the process begun.
Prior to complete disassembly for paint, we fabricated all the parts that would be used on the bike. A sissy bar, it's mounting bosses, motor / coil mount, passenger foot peg bosses, handle bars and all other necessary brackets. Back Yard Boys fabricated all of these from stainless steel. We also took a used flat bottom Sportster King tank and mounted it on the bike as the owner wanted it and made the mounting facade for the front mount. The rear fender was brazed onto the bike, so that needed modification as well and was cut off. After modifying the fender, which included a shape change, the new mounting holes were established and the sissy bar was bolted in place and mounting bosses welded onto the frame.
After everything was to our liking, the disassembly took place and all required repairs to the running gear were done. The frame, tank and fenders were stripped either chemically or mechanically and the painting process begun.
The dilemma was that all the cables and hoses were mismatched and something had to be done. Techflex to the rescue. We just happened to have some neon green Flexo PET left over from a prior installation. The neon green matched the House Of Kolors, Limetime Green Pearl perfectly. This along with the color-coordinated heatshrink tubing available from Techflex, was going to be the perfect solution for the mismatched cables and hoses, not to mention a great look.
With the ease of installation, Techflex Flexo PET allowed us to achieve the look and the extra protection that the owner had sought.
The bike turned out better than anyone had expected and is a real head turner that has people scratching their heads as to what is on hoses and cables. This whole project was completed for less than $1,000.00. Hence the name "Charity Chopper".
Techflex is a great product that along with the ease of installation, allows you to achieve the protection and great looks that no other product on the market offers. We at Back Yard Boys highly recommend and count on Techflex".
